Chappaquiddick Island (Chappy) is a small island off the eastern end of
the larger island of Martha's Vineyard.
 
A small, barge-like ferry (The Chappy Ferry) shuttles between Chappaquiddick and the town of Edgartown, carrying cars and passengers, a very long 3 minute ride! (www.chappyferry.com)
The island has only 150 year round residents and 350 houses upon its 5 square miles, as well as numerous wildlife preserves and beaches. Chappy has a small country store which is only open in the summer. We also offer to you during your stay on Chappy the use of a 14 foot Hobie-Cat sailboat and two Kyacks that you launch right from our beach...Call for pricing and availability.
