This charming Chappaquiddick Cottage (3 bedroom w/ sleeping loft sleeps 8) lies on 3+ acres.  Less than one minute brings you to your private 4-acre beach on the beautiful Nantucket Sound and Caleb's Pond.  A short distance provides easy access to Chappy's ocean beaches and the Chappaquiddick Community Center.  The home features a furnished wrap-around deck with Weber BBQ grill to enjoy the quiet natural surrounds of the island. The dining area seats 8 and is situated by full-length windows with a wonderful garden view.  For the cooler evenings you might light the wood stove.  The quaint kitchen and breakfast nook is fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave and icemaker plus all the accessories needed to enjoy your summer fare.  The first floor bath provides a washer/dryer for your convenience.  On this floor are two bedrooms with twin beds and a full-sized suite in the other.

Up a spiral stairway to the loft is an added play/work or sleeping space.  A twin bedroom and full bath is on this level.  The Chappy Cottage includes an outdoor shower with a changing area and accommodations for infants.

Just a short 3/4-mile from the Chappy Ferry (www.chappyferry.com), you can enjoy the serenity of Chappy and the fun loving availability of Edgartown and the other wonderful towns on Martha's Vineyard.

The property has available a barn and guest house for smaller parties. Please call for information. Larger parties can be accomodated with neighboring homes which we can arrange.

Just minutes away is the Chappy Community Center providing summer activities for all ages. Some activities include: movie night, concerts, yoga, a summer fair, swimming and sailing lessons. The CCC is a perfect spot to gather to meet other children and enjoy these summer activities.
The Trustees of the Reservation at the Dyke Bridge schedule daily canoing, kayaking, bird watching and sightseeing tours. The lovely Mytoi Garden is just a bike ride away. This garden features tranquil walks thru books, streams and exquisite landscapes along a shady path providing a nice respite from the sun and beach.
